COMPLETING THE NON-RESIDENT APPLICATION PROCESS
You understand and agree that the Arizona Concealed Certificate of Completion is not a license or permit to carry a concealed weapon. You understand non-residents must apply to the Arizona State Police and pay any applicable fee charged by the Arizona State Police and satisfy all requirements to be issued a Arizona concealed handgun license. The Arizona State Police require non-residents to submit:
1. Completed and notarized application
2. Money order or cashier’s check in the amount of $100 made payable to the Arizona State Police.
3. Two passport style photographs.
4. A completed FBI fingerprint card (Applicant card FD-258). The impressions must be obtained by a law enforcement agency, and the card must:
- be signed by the applicant
- be signed by the law enforcement individual taking the prints
- include the telephone number of the law enforcement individual taking the prints to facilitate validation of authenticity
- the agency stamp on the back of the print card is requested but not mandatory
5. Documentation of competence with a handgun (Your Arizona Concealed certificate of completion)
6. Photocopy of a valid photo-ID issued by a governmental agency
As of November 23, 2016, we are aware the following states force their citizens to obtain their home state permit even though they honor the Arizona permit:
Alabama, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Nebraska, Nevada, Tennessee, West Arizona, and Wisconsin
If you reside in one of these states, you cannot use the Arizona permit to carry concealed in your home state.
COMPLETING THE RESIDENT APPLICATION PROCESS
You understand and agree that the Arizona Concealed Certificate of Completion is not a license or permit to carry a concealed weapon. You understand Arizona residents must apply to their local circuit clerk and pay any applicable fee charged and satisfy all requirements to be issued a Arizona concealed handgun license. As of January 1, 2016, the total application fee may not exceed $50. We recommend calling ahead to your circuit clerk to confirm their fees and to set an appointment if necessary.
RECIPROCITY WITH OTHER STATES
The Arizona Non-resident Permit is available to U.S. citizens in all 50 states and allows you to carry concealed in the following 29 states:
Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana*, Iowa*, Kansas*, Kentucky*, Louisiana*, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska*, Nevada*, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma*, South Dakota, Tennessee*, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Arizona, West Arizona*, Wisconsin* and Wyoming.
*These states require their residents to obtain their home state permit if they wish to carry concealed legally in their home state. Without your home state permit you can still travel legally concealed in the other 27 states.
If you’re a Arizona resident your permit will be honored in the following 32 states:
Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Arizona, West Arizona and Wyoming.
When traveling to other states, you must follow each individual state’s laws regarding concealed carry. We recommend finding the website of the issuing authority of each state’s concealed weapons permit to learn more about their concealed carry laws. By taking the test for your Arizona Concealed Certificate of Completion and submission of your passing score you are certifying you personally did take all sections of the training, and the test for a Arizona Concealed Certificate of Completion. Without the aid of another, the score you earned is your true score. Our certificate is delivered to the email address you provide during checkout. Failure to type in the correct email address does not constitute grounds for a refund.
We guarantee your Certificate of Completion will be accepted by the authority to which your application was submitted. In the event your application is denied due to the nature of our training, we will contact the issuing authority directly on your behalf. If we cannot resolve the issue, a full refund will be credited to the account used to purchase your Certificate of Completion. We will refund the amount paid to purchase your Certificate of Completion only. We will not refund any application fees paid to authority to which your application was submitted or any other expenses incurred during the application process. You agree that you have read and understand the conditions of our guarantee by clicking, “I agree.”
A full refund will be issued to the account used during checkout if an application is denied due to the nature of our training only. All refunds render the certificate invalid. Any attempt to process an invalid certificate will constitute fraud, and will be prosecuted.

THIS MEANS THAT YOU CANNOT SUE OR RECOVER ANY DAMANGES FROM AMERICAN CONCEALED, ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS, AND LICENSORS AS A RESULT OF ITS DECISION TO REMOVE OR REFUSE TO PROCESS ANY INFORMATION OR CONTENT, TO WARN YOU, TO SUSPEND OR TERMINATE YOUR ACCESS TO THE VIRGINIACONCEALED.COM SERVICE, OR TO TAKE ANY OTHER ACTION DURING THE INVESTIGATION OF A SUSPECTED VIOLATION OR AS RESULT OF AMERICAN CONCEALED’S CONCLUSION THAT A VIOLATION OF THIS AGREEMENT HAS OCCURRED. THIS WAIVER AND INDEMNITY PROVISIONS APPLIES TO ALL VIOLATIONS DESCRIBED IN OR CONTEMPLATED BY THIS AGREEMENT.
